S o Samuel did what the Lord said, and went to Bethlehem. And the elders of the town trembled at his coming, and said, “Do you come peaceably?”

فَفَعَلَ صَمُوئِيلُ كَما قالَ لَهُ اللهُ. فَذَهَبَ إلَى بَيتَ لَحْمَ. فارتَعَدَ شُيُوخُ بَيتَ لَحْمَ خَوفاً. وَاستَقبَلُوا صَمُوئِيلَ وَسَألُوهُ: «هَلْ أنتَ هُنا فِي مَهَمَّةِ سَلامٍ؟»
