H owever, we cannot give them wives from our daughters, for the children of Israel have sworn an oath, saying, ‘Cursed be the one who gives a wife to Benjamin.’”

只 是 我 們 不 能 將 自 己 的 女 兒 給 他 們 為 妻 ； 因 為 以 色 列 人 曾 起 誓 說 ， 有 將 女 兒 給 便 雅 憫 人 為 妻 的 ， 必 受 咒 詛 。
