T herefore the Lord left those nations, without driving them out immediately; nor did He deliver them into the hand of Joshua.

فَسَمَحَ اللهُ لِهَذِهِ الشُّعُوبِ بِأنْ تَبْقَى فِي الأرْضِ، دُونَ أنْ يَطرُدَهُمْ فَوراً. وَلَمْ يُساعِدْ يَشُوعَ عَلَى هَزِيمَتِهِمْ.
