S o they sat down, and the two of them ate and drank together. Then the young woman’s father said to the man, “Please be content to stay all night, and let your heart be merry.”

Così si posero ambedue a sedere e mangiarono e bevvero assieme. Poi il padre della giovane disse al marito: «Ti prego, acconsenti a passare qui la notte, e il tuo cuore si rallegri».
