A nd they called the name of the city Dan, after the name of Dan their father, who was born to Israel. However, the name of the city formerly was Laish.

Y llamaron el nombre de aquella ciudad Dan, conforme al nombre de Dan su padre, engendrado de Israel, bien que antes se llamaba la ciudad Lais.
