T hey took possession of all the territory of the Amorites, from the Arnon to the Jabbok and from the wilderness to the Jordan.

وَاحتَلُّوا كُلَّ أراضِي الأمُورِيِّينَ مِنْ نَهْرِ أرنُونَ إلَى نَهْرِ يَبُّوقَ. وَمِنَ الصَّحْراءِ إلَى نَهْرِ الأُردُنِّ.
