a nd he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while. The Saints Reign with Christ 1, 000 Years

The angel threw the devil into the hole without a bottom. He shut it and locked him in it. He could not fool the nations anymore until the 1, 000 years were completed. After this he must be free for awhile.
