T hen the priests who bore the ark of the covenant of the Lord stood firm on dry ground in the midst of the Jordan; and all Israel crossed over on dry ground, until all the people had crossed completely over the Jordan.

Os sacerdotes que levavam a arca do pacto do Senhor pararam firmes em seco no meio do Jordão, e todo o Israel foi passando a pé enxuto, até que todo o povo acabou de passar o Jordão.
