T hen the men arose to go away; and Joshua charged those who went to survey the land, saying, “Go, walk through the land, survey it, and come back to me, that I may cast lots for you here before the Lord in Shiloh.”

Când bărbaţii au fost gata să plece ca să scrie despre ţară, Iosua le-a poruncit astfel: „Duceţi-vă, străbateţi ţara şi faceţi o descriere a ei, după care întoarceţi-vă la mine, iar eu voi arunca sorţul pentru voi în prezenţa Domnului, la Şilo.“
