B y faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise;

C'est par la foi qu'il vint s'établir dans la terre promise comme dans une terre étrangère, habitant sous des tentes, ainsi qu'Isaac et Jacob, les cohéritiers de la même promesse.
