A s I urged you when I went into Macedonia—remain in Ephesus that you may charge some that they teach no other doctrine,

When I left for the country of Macedonia, I asked you to stay in the city of Ephesus. I wanted you to stay there so you could tell those who are teaching what is not true to stop.
