T he Horites formerly dwelt in Seir, but the descendants of Esau dispossessed them and destroyed them from before them, and dwelt in their place, just as Israel did to the land of their possession which the Lord gave them.)

Auch wohnten vorzeiten in Seir die Horiter; und die Kinder Esau vertrieben und vertilgten sie vor sich her und wohnten an ihrer Statt, gleich wie Israel dem Lande seiner Besitzung tat, das ihnen der HERR gab.)
