“ One witness shall not rise against a man concerning any iniquity or any sin that he commits; by the mouth of two or three witnesses the matter shall be established.

Un singur martor nu va fi de ajuns pentru a învinui un om sau pentru a-l dovedi vinovat de vreo nelegiuire sau de vreun păcat. Orice vorbă trebuie să fie susţinută pe baza mărturiei a doi sau trei martori.
