F or even if I made you sorry with my letter, I do not regret it; though I did regret it. For I perceive that the same epistle made you sorry, though only for a while.

For if also I grieved you in the letter, I do not regret, if even I have regretted it; for I see that that letter, if even only for a time, grieved you.
