B ut this I say, brethren, the time is short, so that from now on even those who have wives should be as though they had none,

وَما أُحاوِلُ أنْ أقُولَهُ أيُّها الإخوَةُ هُوَ أنَّ الوَقتَ بَدَأ يَنفَدُ. فَمِنَ الآنَ فَصاعِداً، عَلَى مَنْ لَهُمْ زَوجاتٌ أنْ يَعِيشُوا وَكَأنَّهُمْ بِلا زَوجاتٍ.
