a nd changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.

وَاستَبدَلُوا مَجدَ اللهِ الَّذِي لا يَفْنَى، بِصُوَرٍ تُشبِهُ الإنسانَ وَالطُّيُورَ وَالدَّوابَ وَالزَّواحِفَ الفانِيةَ.
