W hen they had taken it on board, they used cables to undergird the ship; and fearing lest they should run aground on the Syrtis Sands, they struck sail and so were driven.

Y una vez subido a bordo, usaron de refuerzos para ceñir la nave; y teniendo temor de dar en la Sirte, arriaron las velas y quedaron a la deriva.
