T hen they led Jesus from Caiaphas to the Praetorium, and it was early morning. But they themselves did not go into the Praetorium, lest they should be defiled, but that they might eat the Passover.

Em seguida, os judeus levaram Jesus da casa de Caifás para o Pretório. Já estava amanhecendo e, para evitar contaminação cerimonial, os judeus não entraram no Pretório; pois queriam participar da Páscoa.
