T herefore Jesus no longer walked openly among the Jews, but went from there into the country near the wilderness, to a city called Ephraim, and there remained with His disciples.

Por essa razão, Jesus não andava mais publicamente entre os judeus. Ao invés disso, retirou-se para uma região próxima do deserto, para um povoado chamado Efraim, onde ficou com os seus discípulos.
