J esus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things you have seen and heard: that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, the poor have the gospel preached to them.

E Gesú, rispondendo, disse loro: «Andate e riferite a Giovanni ciò che avete visto e udito: i ciechi recuperano la vista, gli zoppi camminano, i lebbrosi sono mondati, i sordi odono, i morti risuscitano, e l'evangelo è annunziato ai poveri.
