A nd Jesus said to them, “Can the friends of the bridegroom fast while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them they cannot fast.

Und Jesus sprach zu ihnen: Wie können die Hochzeitsleute fasten, dieweil der Bräutigam bei ihnen ist? Solange der Bräutigam bei ihnen ist, können sie nicht fasten.
