“ O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing!

Jeruzalem, Jeruzalem, që i vret profetët dhe i vret me gurë ata që të janë dërguar! Sa herë kam dashur t’i mbledh bijtë e tu ashtu si i mbledh klloçka zogjtë e vet nën krahë, por ju nuk deshët!
