T hese six cities shall be for refuge for the children of Israel, for the stranger, and for the sojourner among them, that anyone who kills a person accidentally may flee there.

As seis cidades servirão de refúgio para os israelitas, para os estrangeiros residentes e para quaisquer outros estrangeiros que vivam entre eles, para que todo aquele que tiver matado alguém sem intenção possa fugir para lá.
