H e rebukes the sea and makes it dry, And dries up all the rivers. Bashan and Carmel wither, And the flower of Lebanon wilts.

El mustră marea şi o usucă, face să sece toate rîurile; Basanul şi Carmelul tînjesc, şi floarea Libanului se vestejeşte.
