Amos 1:11 ~ A-mốt 1:11

T hus says the Lord: “For three transgressions of Edom, and for four, I will not turn away its punishment, Because he pursued his brother with the sword, And cast off all pity; His anger tore perpetually, And he kept his wrath forever.

Đức Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Bởi cớ tội ác của Ê-đôm đến gấp ba gấp bốn lần, nên ta không xây bỏ án phạt khỏi nó; vì nó đã dùng gươm đuổi theo anh em mình, bẻ cả lòng thương xót, và cơn giận nó cứ cắn xé không thôi, nuôi sự thạnh nộ đời đời.
