N ow, O king, establish the decree and sign the writing, so that it cannot be changed, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which does not alter.”

فَأصدِرْ أيُّها المَلِكُ مَرسُوماً وَاختِمْهُ لِيَصِيرَ مِثلَ شَرِيعَةِ المادِيِّينَ وَالفُرْسِ الَّتِي لا تَتَغَيَّرُ.»
