T hen Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, was astonished for a time, and his thoughts troubled him. So the king spoke, and said, “Belteshazzar, do not let the dream or its interpretation trouble you.” Belteshazzar answered and said, “My lord, may the dream concern those who hate you, and its interpretation concern your enemies!

Atëherë Danieli, emri i të cilit është Beltshatsar, mbeti për një çast i tmerruar dhe mendimet e tij e shqetësonin. Mbreti filloi të thotë: Beltshatsar, mos u turbullo as nga ëndrra as nga interpretimi i sajj". Beltshatsari u përgjigj dhe tha: "Imzot, ëndrra u bëftë realitet për armiqtë e tu dhe interpretimi i saj për kundërshtarët e tu.
