‘ Therefore, as I live,’ says the Lord God, ‘surely, because you have defiled My sanctuary with all your detestable things and with all your abominations, therefore I will also diminish you; My eye will not spare, nor will I have any pity.

Perciò, com'è vero che io vivo dice il Signore, l'Eterno, perché tu hai contaminato il mio santuario con tutte le tue nefandezze e con tutte le tue abominazioni, ritirerò da te il mio favore, il mio occhio non avrà compassione e non userò alcuna pietà.
