S o I said, “Ah, Lord God! Indeed I have never defiled myself from my youth till now; I have never eaten what died of itself or was torn by beasts, nor has abominable flesh ever come into my mouth.”

Entonces dije: «¡Ay, Señor y Dios! Yo no soy ningún ser inmundo, ni jamás, desde que era joven y hasta este día, he comido carne de ningún animal muerto o despedazado, ni tampoco me he llevado a la boca carne inmunda.»
