I ndeed Assyria was a cedar in Lebanon, With fine branches that shaded the forest, And of high stature; And its top was among the thick boughs.

إنَّكَ أشبَهُ بِأرْزَةٍ فِي لُبنانَ، أغصانُها جَمِيلَةٌ وَتُلقِي بِظِلالٍ عَظِيمَةٍ، وارتِفاعُها كَبيرٌ، وَقِمَّتَها وَسَطَ الغُيُومِ!
