T herefore thus says the Lord God: “ As I live, surely My oath which he despised, and My covenant which he broke, I will recompense on his own head.

Therefore thus hath the Lord GOD said: As I live, surely my oath that he has despised and my covenant that he has broken, even it will I turn upon his own head.
