T he precious sons of Zion, Valuable as fine gold, How they are regarded as clay pots, The work of the hands of the potter!

ما كانَ أثْمَنَ أبناءِ صِهْيَوْنَ! يُوزَنُونَ بِالذَّهَبِ النَّقِيَّ. أمّا الآنَ فَيُحسُبُونَ آنِيَةً رَخِيصَةً، كَأوْعِيَةٍ فَخّارِيَّةٍ صَنَعَها الفَخّارِي.
