S o the Lord could no longer bear it, because of the evil of your doings and because of the abominations which you committed. Therefore your land is a desolation, an astonishment, a curse, and without an inhabitant, as it is this day.

El Señor no pudo soportar más, a causa de la maldad de las obras de ustedes y a causa de las abominaciones que habían cometido. Por eso su tierra fue convertida en ruinas, en objeto de horror y maldición, sin habitantes, como está hoy.
