T hen Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and the ten men who were with him, arose and struck Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, with the sword, and killed him whom the king of Babylon had made governor over the land.

Y levantóse Ismael hijo de Nethanías, y los diez hombres que con él estaban, é hirieron á cuchillo á Gedalías hijo de Ahicam, hijo de Saphán, matando así á aquel á quien el rey de Babilonia había puesto sobre la tierra.
