t hat every man should set free his male and female slave—a Hebrew man or woman—that no one should keep a Jewish brother in bondage.

فَكانَ عَلَى كُلِّ واحِدٍ أنْ يُعتِقَ عَبِيدَهُ وَإماءَهُ العِبرانِيِّينَ، حَتَّى لا يَستَعبِدَ اليَهُودِيُّ أخاهُ اليَهُودِيَّ.
