b ehold, I will send and take all the families of the north,’ says the Lord, ‘and Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, My servant, and will bring them against this land, against its inhabitants, and against these nations all around, and will utterly destroy them, and make them an astonishment, a hissing, and perpetual desolations.

voy a tomar a todas las tribus del norte, y a mi siervo Nabucodonosor, rey de Babilonia, y haré que se lancen contra esta tierra y sus habitantes, y contra todas las naciones vecinas. ”Voy a destruirlos, a exponerlos al escarnio y a las burlas. ¡Voy a dejarlos en ruinas para siempre. —Palabra del Señor.
