N either did they say, ‘Where is the Lord, Who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, Who led us through the wilderness, Through a land of deserts and pits, Through a land of drought and the shadow of death, Through a land that no one crossed And where no one dwelt?’

Tampoco dijeron: ‘¿Dónde está el Señor Que nos hizo subir de la tierra de Egipto, Que nos condujo por el desierto, Por una tierra de lugares desolados y barrancos, Por una tierra seca y tenebrosa (de sombra de muerte), Una tierra por la que nadie pasó Y donde ningún hombre habitó?’
