A nd the wild donkeys stood in the desolate heights; They sniffed at the wind like jackals; Their eyes failed because there was no grass.”

تَقِفُ الحَمِيرُ الوَحشِيَّةُ عَلَى المُرتَفَعاتِ الجَرداءِ، لِتَستَنشِقَ الهَواءَ كَبَناتِ آوَى. كَلَّتْ عُيُونُهُمْ إذْ لا عُشبَ هُناكَ.»
