W ho has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall the earth be made to give birth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion was in labor, She gave birth to her children.

國 豈 能 一 日 而 生 ？ 民 豈 能 一 時 而 產 ？ 因 為 錫 安 一 劬 勞 便 生 下 兒 女 ， 這 樣 的 事 誰 曾 聽 見 ？ 誰 曾 看 見 呢 ？
