Isaiah 40:24 ~ Ésaïe 40:24

S carcely shall they be planted, Scarcely shall they be sown, Scarcely shall their stock take root in the earth, When He will also blow on them, And they will wither, And the whirlwind will take them away like stubble.

Ils ne sont pas même plantés, pas même semés, Leur tronc n'a pas même de racine en terre: Il souffle sur eux, et ils se dessèchent, Et un tourbillon les emporte comme le chaume.
