B y your servants you have reproached the Lord, And said, ‘By the multitude of my chariots I have come up to the height of the mountains, To the limits of Lebanon; I will cut down its tall cedars And its choice cypress trees; I will enter its farthest height, To its fruitful forest.

Por mano de tus siervos has injuriado al Señor, Y has dicho: ‘Con mis numerosos carros Yo subí a las cumbres de los montes, A las partes más lejanas del Líbano, Y corté sus altos cedros y sus mejores cipreses. Iré a su más alta cima, a su más frondoso bosque.
