“ But if you say to me, ‘We trust in the Lord our God,’ is it not He whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah has taken away, and said to Judah and Jerusalem, ‘You shall worship before this altar’?”’

Forse mi dirai: ‘Noi confidiamo nel Signore, nel nostro Dio’. Ma non è forse quello stesso di cui Ezechia ha soppresso gli alti luoghi e gli altari, dicendo a Giuda e a Gerusalemme: ‘Voi adorerete davanti a questo altare’?
