T he firstborn of the poor will feed, And the needy will lie down in safety; I will kill your roots with famine, And it will slay your remnant.

وَأبناءُ المَساكِينِ سَيَرْعَوْنَ بِأمانٍ، وَالمُحتاجُونَ سَيَربُضُونَ بِطُمَأنِينَةٍ. وَسَأُمِيتُ عائِلَتَكِ بِالجُوعِ، وَسَأقتُلُ بَنِيهِمْ.
