S o they said, “The God of the Hebrews has met with us. Please, let us go three days’ journey into the desert and sacrifice to the Lord our God, lest He fall upon us with pestilence or with the sword.”

Essi dissero: «Il Dio degli Ebrei si è presentato a noi; lasciaci andare per tre giornate di cammino nel deserto, per offrire sacrifici al Signore, nostro Dio, affinché egli non ci colpisca con la peste o con la spada».
