N ow when Moses saw that the people were unrestrained (for Aaron had not restrained them, to their shame among their enemies),

فَرَأى مُوسَى أنَّ الشَّعبَ قَدْ خَرَجَ عَنِ السَّيطَرَةِ، لِأنَّ هارُونَ سَمَحَ بِذَلِكَ، حَتَّى إنْ أعْداءَهُمُ اسْتَهْزأوا بَسُلُوكِهِمُ المُخْزِي.
