A nd it came to pass at midnight that the Lord struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sat on his throne to the firstborn of the captive who was in the dungeon, and all the firstborn of livestock.

La miezul nopţii Domnul a lovit toţi întâii născuţi din ţara Egiptului, de la întâiul născut al lui Faraon, care stătea pe tronul său, până la întâiul născut al prizonierului, care era în temniţă, şi întâiul născut al tuturor vitelor.
