T herefore the Jews of the villages who dwelt in the unwalled towns celebrated the fourteenth day of the month of Adar with gladness and feasting, as a holiday, and for sending presents to one another.

所 以 住 无 城 墙 乡 村 的 犹 大 人 ， 如 今 都 以 亚 达 月 十 四 日 为 设 筵 欢 乐 的 吉 日 ， 彼 此 ? 送 礼 物 。
