Esther 1:19 ~ Estera 1:19

I f it pleases the king, let a royal decree go out from him, and let it be recorded in the laws of the Persians and the Medes, so that it will not be altered, that Vashti shall come no more before King Ahasuerus; and let the king give her royal position to another who is better than she.

Dacă împăratul găseşte că este bine, să dea un decret imperial, care să fie înscris în legislaţia medo­persană pentru a nu fi încălcat, decret în care să se spună că Vaşti nu va mai putea intra niciodată în prezenţa împăratului Ahaşveroş, şi că demnitatea ei de împărăteasă va fi dată, de către împărat, alteia, mai vrednică decât ea.
