A nd I said to them, “According to our ability we have redeemed our Jewish brethren who were sold to the nations. Now indeed, will you even sell your brethren? Or should they be sold to us?” Then they were silenced and found nothing to say.

y les dije: —Nosotros, según nuestras posibilidades, rescatamos a nuestros hermanos judíos que habían sido vendidos a las naciones; ¿y ahora sois vosotros los que vendéis aun a vuestros hermanos, para que nosotros tengamos que rescatarlos de nuevo? Y callaron, pues no tuvieron qué responder.
