W hatever case comes to you from your brethren who dwell in their cities, whether of bloodshed or offenses against law or commandment, against statutes or ordinances, you shall warn them, lest they trespass against the Lord and wrath come upon you and your brethren. Do this, and you will not be guilty.

Em cada causa que chegar a vocês da parte dos seus irmãos israelitas das outras cidades, seja de derramamento de sangue, sejam questões referentes à lei, aos mandamentos, aos decretos ou às ordenanças, vocês deverão adverti-los de que não pequem contra o Senhor; caso contrário, a ira dele virá sobre vocês e sobre eles. Façam assim, e vocês não pecarão.
